SUTTON ST NICHOLAS KITCHEN
The Sutton St. Nicholas kitchen was crafted in our Bologna Collection, painted in Cornforth White with Downpipe as the kitchen island, and features classic-aged brass handles and Carrara Quartz Worktop with Oak worktop for the island. The utility features our Bologna collection, painted in Downpipe with classic aged brass handles
Our Sutton St. Nicholas project is a testament to bespoke craftsmanship, featuring three beautifully designed rooms: the kitchen, utility room, and bathroom vanity units. This self-built dream home, brought to life with the owner's own hands, boasts a stunning oak frame throughout, lending a timeless charm and warmth to each space.
Starting in the kitchen, the oak worktop beautifully complements the structural elements of the room, seamlessly integrating wood into the overall design. A particularly captivating feature of this kitchen is the choice of open shelving instead of traditional wall cabinets. These shelves, adorned with little touches of wood, add a rustic yet modern flair that we adore. The layout is both practical and inviting, with the dining table positioned at the opposite end of the kitchen. This thoughtful arrangement transforms the kitchen into a multifunctional space, perfect for baking with the little ones, preparing family dinners, tackling homework, and socializing with friends and family.
The Sutton St. Nicholas kitchen was crafted in our classic Bologna Collection, showcasing the pencil-beading detailing beautifully. The perimeter cabinetry was painted in the sophisticated shade of 'Cornforth White' but the kitchen island was painted in 'Iris 020'. This soft colour palette is complemented by the classic-aged brass handles, adding a touch of vintage charm to the kitchen design.
Moving onto the utility room, we continued the Bologna Collection theme and painted the cabinetry with the rich hue of 'Downpipe', a deep, rich grey that brought character into the small space. Our clients paired this design with classic aged brass handles to continue the warm, rustic aesthetic.
The Sutton St. Nicholas project is a shining example of how thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship can transform a house into a home. The use of wood, elegant colour schemes, and classic hardware throughout creates a cohesive and welcoming environment, perfect for family life and entertaining alike.
