LUDLOW KITCHEN

The Ludlow Kitchen was crafted in our Bologna collection and painted in Aurora 240 and Invictus 090. Our clients chose aged brass knobs to decorate their handmade cabinetry and they decided on a quartz worktop in the colour 'Statuario Venato'.

The Ludlow kitchen is a true masterpiece, thoughtfully handcrafted for a charming 19th-century townhouse brimming with history and character. This historic home features original exposed beams, antique doors, and a quaint low kitchen ceiling, all of which contribute to its unique charm and cozy atmosphere. Our clients wanted a kitchen that would honour these historic elements while providing modern functionality and a sense of openness.

One design element our clients found very important was keeping the space as open and light as possible. So, instead of traditional wall cabinetry, they opted for bespoke open oak shelving to run along and around the kitchen. This choice enhances the kitchen's aesthetic appeal and ensures that the space remains bright and airy, avoiding the feeling of being dark and enclosed. The open shelving provides ample storage while showcasing the natural beauty of the oak, creating a warm and inviting ambience. To complement the shelving, we crafted a bespoke oak plate rack that allows our clients to display their favourite plates proudly while keeping them easily accessible for everyday use.

The Ludlow kitchen was handcrafted in our Bologna Collection and painted in a harmonious combination of 'Aurora 240' and 'Invictus 090'. These colours were carefully selected to enhance the kitchen's timeless appeal and blend seamlessly with the home's historic features. 'Invictus 090' is a soft, light white that makes the far corner of the kitchen feel brighter and more open, while 'Aurora 240' adds a subtle depth and colourful character to the room, creating a balanced and elegant palette.

Adding to the kitchen's bespoke charm, our clients chose aged brass knobs to adorn the handmade cabinetry. These knobs not only provide a touch of vintage elegance but also perfectly match the character of the 19th-century townhouse. The luxurious quartz worktop in the color 'Statuario Venato' was chosen to complement the cabinetry and add a touch of sophistication. Its sleek surface and subtle veining provide a stunning contrast to the rustic oak shelving and brass accents, tying the entire design together beautifully.

Every detail, from the handcrafted oak shelving to the bespoke plate rack and the carefully chosen colour palette, reflects our commitment to creating the perfect kitchen for our clients. This space not only honours the rich history of the townhouse but also provides our clients with a beautiful, practical kitchen where they can create new memories while cherishing the old.
