The Elgar kitchen was handcrafted in our Milan collection, our innovative modern design with recessed handles. The kitchen island features a stunning waterfall worktop crafted in sintered stone in style "Calcutta". This modern kitchen was painted in 'Cardea 080' and paired with our Ash wood to create a light and spacious design.
Our clients embarked on their home renovation journey in 2019, just before the COVID pandemic disrupted everyday life. This project has been ongoing for years, making its completion all the more rewarding and significant. Throughout this period, keeping things local was crucial to our clients. When they discovered Minerva, they were immediately drawn to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship, and they knew they wanted their family kitchen to be handcrafted by us.

The design of the Elgar kitchen was intentionally kept minimal to align with the home's overall atmosphere. The Milan collection's modern, clean lines with recessed handles provided the perfect foundation for this vision. The entire kitchen was painted in 'Cardea 080,' a soft, white cabinetry colour that enhances the sense of space and light within the room. This colour was thoughtfully paired with our beautiful Ash wood to create a design that feels both airy and warm. This addition brought a touch of warmth and detail into the design, making the kitchen feel inviting and homely while maintaining a light and fresh ambience.
The waterfall worktop on the island is not just a visual awe; it also serves as a functional space for meal preparation, casual dining, and socialising. The seamless transition of the Calcutta sintered stone down the side of the island adds a sense of continuity and flow, enhancing the kitchen's modern appeal.
