The Briar Kitchen was handcrafted in our Milan collection, a sleek modern design featuring our innovative handleless design. The modern cabinetry was painted in the shade 'Forest Green' from LICK and paired with a quartz worktop in the style 'Bianco Extreme Velluto'.
Nestled in a beautifully renovated 1930s property, The Briar Kitchen is a breathtaking fusion of modern design and timeless charm. This project was part of a full-scale transformation of the home, including the addition of a stunning rear extension that opens up to panoramic views of the Herefordshire countryside.
The original kitchen was a small, modest space that no longer suited the needs of our clients. They envisioned a modern, spacious, and elegant kitchen that would complement their new extension's bright, open-plan living area. We worked closely with them to design a space that exceeded their expectations, creating a functional and stylish centrepiece for their home.
The kitchen was handcrafted in our Milan Collection, one of our signature modern designs. Featuring our innovative 'hidden handles,' the cabinetry creates the illusion of handleless doors while maintaining practical functionality. This thoughtful detail enhances the sleek, smooth aesthetic that defines the space.
A standout feature of The Briar Kitchen is the large central island, which provides ample storage with a mix of deep drawers and cupboards. Not only is it practical, offering plenty of space to keep the kitchen organised, but it also serves as a social hub for the home, perfect for family gatherings or entertaining guests. Its generous worktop offers an expansive surface for food preparation and casual dining, further emphasising the versatility of the design.
The rich, deep green cabinetry makes a bold statement while remaining timeless and elegant. To complement this, black accents—including high-spec appliances, a statement tap, and sleek shelving—add depth and create a striking contrast. These bold details are perfectly balanced by the light, neutral tones of the natural oak flooring and the flood of daylight pouring in through the balcony doors, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.
