This stunning shaker kitchen was handcrafted in our Ferrara collection - our classic shaker design with simple cabinetry. The cabinetry was painted in 'Hercules 150' a deep blue colour chosen from our paint palette, polished brass handles from Yesterhome adorn the cabinetry and we completed the design with a Carrara Quartz worktop.
The Bishops Frome kitchen was meticulously handcrafted for a charming home nestled in the idyllic Herefordshire countryside. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, our clients envisioned a kitchen that would not only serve as the heart of their home but also allow them to fully embrace the natural beauty that surrounds them. To achieve this, they made the bold decision to remove one of the original walls and replace it with stunning oak-framed bi-folding doors. This transformative change flooded the kitchen with an abundance of natural light, creating a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Whether enjoying the gentle breeze on warm summer evenings or cozying up in the kitchen with a cup of tea on a crisp winter day, our clients can now relish the picturesque views of their countryside haven year-round.
To enhance this newly light-filled space, we handcrafted a beautiful glazed countertop cupboard that has quickly become a show-stopping feature in the kitchen. The cupboard, designed with practical bi-folding doors, features several elegant glass shelves, making it the perfect display cabinet for our clients’ cherished glassware. The addition of integrated LED spotlights adds a touch of sophistication, illuminating the glassware and turning this cupboard into a true focal point.
Understanding our client’s passion for baking, we designed a bespoke dresser specifically tailored for a charming alcove in the original wall. This exquisite piece of cabinetry was fitted with precision, transforming the alcove into a dedicated baking station that not only serves as a functional workspace but also as a ‘wow-factor’ feature in the kitchen. With ample storage for appliances, ingredients, and baking tools, the dresser allows our client to express her culinary creativity with ease while keeping everything she needs within arm’s reach.
Throughout the kitchen, subtle yet thoughtful oak detailing has been carefully incorporated to tie the space together and enhance its rustic charm. From integrated chopping boards to a bespoke oak shelf with discreet LED strip lighting, every element has been designed to complement the home’s original features. These oak accents harmonize beautifully with the existing rustic oak beams, creating a cohesive look that bridges the kitchen and the historic architecture of the home.
