Post Christmas and pre new year, it feels like a good time to reflect on the year in kitchens, and what follows is a selection of some of our special projects that were completed in 2024.
Of course all of our projects are special, but I have gone for an array of snippets of different styles, room shapes, designs and cabinetry to give you a small overview of the projects we have completed, whilst touching on what we can do and how we could make your kitchen dreams a reality.
This first project is part of our Milan collection - "the pull to open modern collection".
Milan features a frame to support the hidden handles that are recessed into the top of the doors and drawers. The overall design features the signature bold shapes with a flat-panelled style keeping in line with the modern style. Whilst being modern in its design and style it has a smooth aesthetic which allows it to blend in with any style and type of home.
This next project is part of our Sorrento collection - "the frameless shaker".
We completely get that trying to choose between modern and shaker designs is a challenge in itself because they of course both have their qualities, so to make things a lot easier for you, we have...Sorrento.
The collection inspiration was to have a smooth, frameless design, with the addition of minimalistic shaker doors and drawers. This hybrid design is the perfect combination of modern and shaker.
Given that the design takes in the best of both worlds Sorrento is a collection that's suited to projects involving big, bold, grand conversion designs and, on the flip side, the smaller, intimate, compact kitchenette type projects....and anything in between.
A kitchen island is of course a social space for all the family, but in this kitchen it also became an extra station for cooking, with the island hob, and so much more space around the rest of the island for general food prep. and service.
Next up we have a project from the Ferrara collection - which is simply "the classic shaker".
The Shaker style is instantly recognisable with its crisp uncluttered lines, making it easy to maintain.
Ferrara may be simple in design, but there is a lot more than meets the eye, especially when you open the cabinets. By integrating appliances we can hide modern technology behind this iconic design.
The classic shaker is no style breaker!
Our fourth project on display is part of the Bologna collection.
Bologna is inspired by the classic shaker design.
The pencil beading outlines the doors and drawers adding a touch of elegance to the traditional shaker kitchen making it our most popular collection.
We stand by the shaker concept as this added feature still keeps the design simple and easy to look after. Perfect for those looking for an elegant shaker kitchen design.
As you can see this is just a snippet of the bigger project, but I wanted to show you an example of a little bit of bespoke magic that we infused to produce this handcrafted wine rack. This is sitting at the end of a kitchen island and is the ultimate addition to what would have been a standard end island cabinetry piece. Of course, 12 bottles of wine on display is never going to look out of place in any kitchen, but housed in such a smart way that it becomes not only a physical presence as part of the kitchen space, but is also an unavoidable talking point when you have friends, family and neighbours round.
This next project is another snippet of our Bologna collection - well I did say it was our most popular collection, so I'm backing it up!
Here is a corner kitchen shot that is a nice close up on three dovetail jointed drawers that were part of a large kitchen design. This type of image really shows you the definition of the joints and the detailed intricacies that are involved.
Our final showcased project is another one that is part of the Ferrara collection, sometimes a project looks so good that we just can't resist!
Here we have a large kitchen island that looks very grand in a roomy space that also involves a lot of other cabinetry - the island is almost the length of the kitchen and it provides a whole host of additional worktop space for equipment, preparation and plating up for big family get-togethers.
The island also provides storage en masse, where everything from kitchen appliances to containers to cutlery can be stored.
The classic shaker design looks like it's in its element in this space, but one thing I am certain of is that it would certainly be just as happy forming a project for you and all of your family's cooking, storage and socialising needs.
