Meet the Kitchen - Molveno Edition

Our Molveno collection has all the qualities of a frameless, minimalistic modern design, but instead of hidden handles or push-to-open mechanisms it does in fact have handles. Handles can influence the overall aesthetic of cabinetry and are a great way to add a touch of character to your kitchen design. Molveno is a great starting point if you're looking for a sleek design with the simple addition of a handle.

So, Molveno is a minimalistic modern design with classic, or not so classic, handles in the mix, what's not to love? One of the biggest decisions you will need to make is which handles to go for! Just to share a few of our most popular types with you, there is Solid Oak, Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Aged Brass, Polished Nickel, Satin Nickel and many more...

Handles of course provide the perfect practical functionality for opening up your cabinetry doors and drawers, but chosen with style in mind they can easily add another dimension to your kitchen design. Handles pull together the smooth profile of the cabinetry with an alternative colour, texture or material to create diversity....diversity in a kitchen can create something very special and with such a range of different elements and qualities available, I hope you realise you're now teetering on the edge of your dream Minerva kitchen!

Okay, next we have some Molveno inspiration for you - this project was intricate to design and equally intricate to handcraft and install. Intricacy is in our DNA, so every project we work on is always completed to the absolute finest level of detail. This client chose Molveno with solid oak bar handles, which made the contrast between the two really pop! These handles work well with a lot of colours, due to their distinctive look, and you will of course be welcome to test out what is the look and colour for you.

Close up on a corner of a kitchen - black, bespoke, handcrafted cabinetry is shown, which is contemporary in style and has wooden handles - this is part of the Molveno range. There is a silver sink and tap shown, along with part of a window and on the window sill is a number of potted plants.

As you can see from the below the Molveno carpentry really stands out - this is even when it is fitted between a large multi-function oven and a classic aga. The modern design with classic oak handles really looks bold and like it means business, giving it a sharp look that will transform any kitchen area into the ultimate, family dining space.

Close up on the middle of a kitchen - black, bespoke, handcrafted cabinetry is shown, which is contemporary in style and has wooden handles - this is part of the Molveno collection. There is a double conventional oven shown, with a colourful splash-back, and part of an aga is shown to the right of the image. There is a window and on the window sill is a number of potted plants.

Getting a little bit closer to the main attraction - Molveno, with its frameless design, shows off a clean, contemporary and minimalist look. Even with a large number of cabinets in a relatively small space the cabinetry is not overpowering in any way because of its style, and the soft close drawers and cabinets will make all of your meal times feel like a culinary breeze.

Close up on a kitchen cabinet and worktop. The cabinet is black, bespoke and handcrafted. It is contemporary in style and has wooden handles - this is part of the Molveno collection. There is a window and on the window sill is a number of potted plants and some other kitchen equipment and fruit and veg is in bowls on the window sill and worktop.
A black, bespoke, handcrafted kitchen island is shown, which is contemporary in style and has wooden handles - this is part of the Molveno collection. There is floor to ceiling wooden beams either side of the island. More cabinetry is shown in the background, around the room, along with a colourful hob splash-back, a window, potted plants and some kitchen equipment.

....to the right we have a Molveno island, this really shows the bespoke cabinetry that we can create. The island was perfectly crafted and then installed between two timber beams and this immediately became the strong focal point of the whole space, and rightly so! It is practical as a storage solution, because of the two huge front drawers, there is shelving to the side and of course on top there is generous worktop space for a smorgasbord of baked delights or for general kitchen gatherings at morning, noon or night.
